I'm not going to lie, the sudden surge of Rightist racial violence and rhetoric really does not sit very well with me. Seems like every century, we undergo this radicalization based solely on external charateristics of "Other"...color, gender, religion, etc. How many more times must we have this same fight?

Nope. I'm not cool with any sort of generalized violence directed at externalities, save those that involve "holy shit, nation x has attacked us, we must defend ourselves". Nope. Not a Stalinist. Not a Leninist. Not a Maoist. Not a Trotskyite. Just a lefty who believes in a common dream of a life, and a better one for your kids and mine, without fear of violence/death/mayhem directed at one another b/c of their religion, race, color, class, beliefs or other indicia of "otherness". Hence, "Ich bin ein Auslander"..."I am (an)the outsider".
